DTA Foundation announces its first ever 2021 Grants Advisory Council

Earlier this year, the DTA Foundation formed its first ever Grants Advisory Council. Similar to its Scholarships Advisory Council, this Council consists of non-board member volunteers advising the DTA Foundation’s Grants Committee on the application process and systems, and providing guidance on grant program strategies. This group also advises on the DTA Foundation on pressing oral health care issues. Please join the DTA Foundation in thanking the following individuals for providing their time and expertise.

• Kevin Thomas, Managing Member and Co-President of Elevate Oral Care, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation Board Trustee, former DTA Foundation Interim Executive Director and Board Member. Also participated on the baords for Children’s Dental Health Project and TeamSmile.
• Dr. Fox, Chief Executive Officer of the International Association for Dental Research and the American Association for Dental Research, Harvard School of Dental Medicine Distinguished Alumnus Award recipient and former Director of Professional Relations for Colgate Palmolive Company.
• Michele Penrose, Development Director for Smiles for Life, former Director of Global Professional Relations for Henry Schein and former Director for Give Kids a Smile and Chairperson for Give Kids a Smile National Advisory Committee.
