GRANTS FOR 2024 FUNDING ARE CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW

The DTA Foundation accepts grant applications throughout the year for consideration. Applications of interest are due by November 30 for the following year’s funding. Finalists will be notified in the new year and asked to submit a personal video explaining their project. The eligibility criteria has been built into the application form and only those eligible will be asked to submit a funding application.

The DTA Foundation accepts grant applications throughout the year for consideration for next year’s funding. Any interested applicants will have between now and November 30, 2023 to fill out the application form in order to be considered for 2024 funding. Applications submited by November 30th of 2023 are currently under review for 2024 funding. Finalists will be notified after the new year and asked to submit a more personal video explaining their project. The eligibility criteria has been built into the form and those not eligible for DTA Foundation will not be able to submit an application.

Who should complete the application form?

Whoever makes the most sense for your organization, that may be potential principal applicant, project manager, etc.


Does the principal organization have to be a 501(c)(3)?

No, it can be a 501(c)(3), 501(c)(6), 509(a), a university, or a government agency.


Can I submit more than one proposal?

Yes, you can submit different proposals for different projects managed by the same organization.


If I received a grant in the past, can I apply again for another project?

Yes.


What is the funding period?

The DTA Foundation is accepting applications between now through November 30, 2024 for 2025 funding. With video requests from finalists to go out in late Winter and the final review to begin in the spring. All candidates will be notified via email of their status by July 1st. Grant funding will be provided in September through October, signaling the start of the grant project. The grantee has one full year to complete the project, with a few months of time after for reporting their results.


What is your policy on funding indirect costs?

The Foundation does not provide funds for indirect costs, endowments/fundraising campaigns. Funding to support staffing should be for new personnel required to accomplish the goals of the project not to fund current personnel’s salary.


Can the grant funds be used to reimburse a program retroactively?

No, the funds should be applied for future use.
