Introducing Annce Kadri: A 2021 DTA Foundation/Dr. Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund Scholarship Recipient

Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s Annce Kadri was awarded a 2021 scholarship of $5,000 as last year’s DTA Foundation/Dr. Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund Scholarship Recipients.

In 2021, the DTA Foundation awarded 10 more $5,000 Scholarships to scholarship applicants. Annce Kadri, a dental student at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, was the very deserving recipient of one of those scholarships. Continue reading below for his plans to continue impacting his community and on the scholarship.

My goal is to become a pediatric dentist, serve my community and do my part to ensure that all children have access to quality oral healthcare by collaborating with various stakeholders to create initiatives that promote healthy and affordable living…Collectively, I hope to decrease the number of families experiencing food insecurity, promote oral health education and increase access oral healthcare services.

Thanks to the DTA Foundation & Dr. Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund I’ll be able to donate more of my time providing equitable care to children and using Culinary Medicine to help children live healthier and more nutritious lives. Strong Teeth, Strong Bones, Strong Life!
