Dental Trade Alliance Foundation Announces Opening of 2026 Dental and Dental Hygiene Scholarships 

Applications Close March 15, 2026 

Arlington, VA — The Dental Trade Alliance Foundation (DTAF) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its 2026 Dental and Dental Hygiene Scholarship Program. These scholarships provide financial support to students pursuing careers in dentistry and dental hygiene, helping them access the education and resources needed to succeed and make a lasting impact in the profession. 

Each year, DTAF awards scholarships to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their education, their communities, and the advancement of the dental industry. The Foundation is especially proud to support students who are dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation within oral healthcare. 

“The future of the dental industry depends on the next generation of skilled, driven professionals,” said Jackie Michaels, Managing Director of the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation “These scholarships recognize students who are dedicated to increasing access to oral healthcare  and to advancing the profession through leadership, service, and excellence in care.” 

DTAF scholarships are intended for students who:

• Are pursuing careers in dentistry or dental hygiene and have a clear educational path toward completion 
• Demonstrate a commitment to community service through volunteering, mentoring, or outreach initiatives 
• Are dedicated to advancing the dental profession through leadership, research, innovation, or advocacy 

Applications for the 2026 scholarship cycle will close on March 15, 2026. Interested students are encouraged to apply early and review eligibility requirements carefully.
