March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is a national observance dedicated to raising awareness about the experiences of people with developmental disabilities. To further our mission of ensuring a healthy smile for all, the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation is working with other organizations to highlight #DDAM2024 by providing easy-to-use marketing materials to raise awareness on this vastly unmet need in oral health care and connecting to the work of leading organizations in the space. A shocking 6.5 million people with different disabilities in the US cannot access the oral care they need and it’s affecting their overall health. It’s time to change that.

This year’s theme, “A World of Opportunities,” celebrates people working together to remove obstacles. Join us in making a world where all kinds of people have the chance to thrive. Help spread the word about this year’s Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month by incorporating these pre-built social media materials into your March social media efforts.
