DTA Foundation Announces 2024 Dental Hygiene Student Scholarship Winners

WASHINGTON, October 1, 2024 — New this year, the DTA Foundation launched applications for dental hygiene student scholarships. Thanks to the Lawrence and Sally Cohen Endowed Scholarship for Dental Hygiene created from a generous $1 million gift from the Benco Family Foundation, two dental hygiene students were awarded a $25,000 scholarship each for their two year program. Additionally, a third student was awarded a $6,000 scholarships thanks to the Wilson Fundraising Walk for Dental Hygiene, a fundraising event that took place in May of this year.

The 2024 DTA Foundation dental hygiene scholarship winners are:

These exceptional students were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants based on their remarkable resilience, passion for dental hygiene, and a demonstrated commitment to their communities. The DTA Foundation is proud to support these students with their funding partners.

Applicaitons are now open for 2025 scholarships! For the online application, please visit https://form.jotform.com/223354030797153. Students will have until March 1st of 2025 to complete their application.
