Virtual Reality is Creating Understanding

Virtual reality can improve the education experience by providing learners with memorable and immersive experiences that would otherwise not be possible. VR experiences can engage learners in hands-on, gamified approaches to learning in various subjectsā€¯ which have been shown to support cognitive development and increase classroom engagement. The proposed project will develop and research how an emerging technology, “The Mouth,” an immersive virtual reality using head-mounted displays, can enhance oral health literacy and generate interest in oral health issues.
