Creating Accessible Tools
Through the virtual reality program, people with disabilities will learn skills necessary to help them cope with the distress associated with dental visits. In addition, participants will be able to successfully attend dental appointments and receive routine dental care that has typically been difficult in the past. DDI and Akiva will collect data, share outcomes, and publish valuable clinical research studies on the use of virtual reality for people with disabilities.
