Introducing Christine Nguyen: The 2020 DTA Foundation / Dr. Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund Scholarship Recipient

AT Still University – Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health’s Christine Nguyen was awarded a 2020 scholarship of $5,000 as last year’s DTA Foundation / Dr. Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund Scholarship Recipient.

In 2020, the DTA Foundation awarded 10 $5,000 level scholarships to winning applicants. Christine Nguyen, a dental student at AT Still University – Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, was one of those 10 very deserving scholarship recipients. Asked why she chose dentistry in her application, she responded “I chose dentistry because I knew I would be able to live by my personal values of compassion, inclusivity, empowerment, and service every day.” Read below her thanks to the Dr. Edward B. This scholarship not only helps relieve some financial stress from dental school tuition, it reinforces my belief that dentistry is intimately intertwined with service. Your endorsement makes it a much easier decision to stay committed to community service once I graduate.
